So Greg, what exactly do you do for work?

For the past few months, my job situation has been sort of up in the air. But, starting this Monday, I have a new job in SLO, and one that I hope to be doing for a while. I'll be doing Online Marketing for a software company in SLO. They've been in SLO for 8 years and there are 35 employees in the SLO office. They design and sell e-commerce software, deploying online stores for manufacturers. I will work with many of the 400+ existing clients, driving more traffic to their online stores, aiming to increase their sales. For more info on the company, check out a short writeup here.

So what about Silk Road Business Group? What about working with your brother? Well, it seems that it was not the right time for me to join Silk Road Business Group, since funding has not yet been acquired. In the meantime, I have been working with my brother on a new website project, and that has been a good experience, but needed to come to an end soon. So, I checked out this job, and things have moved really quickly!

I'm really excited for the new job. I'll be doing a lot of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and developing marketing programs for our clients to increase web traffic for them and ultimately increasing sales for everyone.

Hope all is well on this Sunday afternoon. Watching the 49ers has been sort of a bummer lately... oh, and I pick the BoSox over the DBacks in 6 for the World Series by the way. Anyone agree?

I know we talked about this job opportunity a few weeks ago, but I'm drawing a blank on the company name. I'm pretty sure it's the same place that our friend Ben Sheriff works. Say hi to him for us.
